The jacket fits great and the zipper is on the right side!! I'm male, 5'10", and 190 lbs. Got the XL. There are no labels say what type of leather this is, but is feels like cowhide like advertised. Hoping it lasts longer than my lambskin jacket. The only downside is the lining is a very cheap material. Like grab the cheap stuff off the walmart shelf type of cheap. I would've been happier with flannel. I still love the jacket though. Has a good weight to it and looks good.

Overall, this is a well-made, stylish leather jacket. However, the size medium measures 22" armpit to armpit. That's 44" actual chest and not the 47" the size chart claims. Hopefully, it will stretch some. Also, it stinks of chemicals pretty bad. I hope that is due to dying/treatment and not fake leather.
